This paper investigates the effect of promoting Islamic ethics and education in schools on enhancing students' personal skills and social interactions. The fuzzy data envelopment analysis method was used to calculate the efficiency score of non-profit middle schools in Tehran, including Islamic schools. The evaluation criteria included scientific, financial, educational, and student and parent satisfaction aspects. The efficiency scores of 50 schools, including 12 Islamic schools, obtained from solving the developed data envelopment analysis model showed that Islamic schools had the highest rankings among the evaluated schools.Data collected through the library-field method showed that the level of personal and social skills of students in Islamic schools was significantly higher than other schools. Also, the level of student satisfaction was due to the variety and innovation of activities, the use of students' opinions in selecting and holding different courses, and the encouragement of group activities.Parents expressed contentment with the development of characteristics such as discipline, time management, self-confidence, independence, effective decision-making, social skills, and fulfillment of religious obligations in students.Performance evaluation and calculation of efficiency scores based on various criteria are useful tools in identifying superior units in terms of performance and setting them as a benchmark for other units, as well as identifying weaknesses in various financial, scientific, and educational aspects, and help managers make informed decisions to address weaknesses in order to achieve optimal performance.
