Objective: This article refers to a series of moral and skill models necessary for a teacher to learn about the teaching of mathematics and statistics
Methods: In this paper, the new approaches of mathematics and statistics education are described. To better understand these approaches, the concept of constructivism will be introduced as a new attitude in teaching statistics and mathematics.
Results: In this paper, the pathology of teaching and learning mathematics and statistics is analyzed, and especially the factors of students' misunderstandings in these branches are introduced. Valuable information is also provided about students' dependence on pamphlets. Among them, some of the problems of textbooks in the secondary high school and the problems that students mention with mathematics and statistics courses. Also, several challenges of virtual education will be briefly mentioned. At the end, some educational anomalies caused by a teacher are described.
Conclusion: Strengthening teaching skills plays an essential role in the progress of scientific schools. Familiarity with these skills is necessary for teachers, and by knowing these challenges, they will try to solve educational anomalies.
