The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between mobile phone addiction, anxiety, and procrastination with the academic achievement of female students in the first grade of secondary school. This study was conducted with a quantitative and descriptive-correlational approach. Data were collected through standard questionnaires and analyzed using statistical methods of correlation and multiple regression. The results showed that there is a negative and significant relationship between each of the variables of mobile phone addiction, anxiety, and procrastination with academic achievement. Also, the combination of these three variables is able to significantly predict the academic achievement of students. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the aforementioned psychological and behavioral factors play a significant role in reducing academic performance. Accordingly, it is necessary to pay attention to these factors in educational environments and implement psychological and educational interventions to reduce their negative effects.
